Real photography for real people and businesses
I have years of experience doing photography and looking back on my images I know my images are exceptional, but the most important thing my experience has taught me is how to treat people and give more than is expected. I strive to create beautiful real images, capturing portraits of people so they can see how beautiful and amazing they are. I work hard to master my camera, photoshop, lighting, and anything else that will make sure my images and photographs are outstanding. The part I am really proud of is how I treat people. I work hard to make sure my clients have my very best service from the first contact to the last delivery of products. I pride myself on being available, communicating clearly and really listening to my customers needs and wants. I ask a lot of questions and spend time getting to know them. I reassess my business often to make sure I am providing great value in my service and exceptional photo products. I love what I do and I hope you can see it and feel it.
The Studio Space
I know most people are more interested in photo sessions outdoors especially in this beautiful state we live in. Fall leaves, spring flowers ant the Arboretum, and summer sessions by the lake are more appealing than a canvas backdrop and a flashing light. I have even seen a rise in requests of snowy portraits with beautiful winter light. So cold but so amazing! The studio is great for business headshots and cake smash sessions for one year olds. It works great for small families when the weather doesn’t work for little kids. (and it often doesn’t) My studio is perfect for changing clothes and taking a break with a two year old. My studio is where I connect with people. It is where we meet for the first time and consult about what is needed or desired. It is where I get to go to work on my images after the session is over, where I meet customers to place an order. I looked for years for the perfect studio and although it has most of what I need to really do my job it lacks in a few things like north light and higher ceilings. What makes me most happy about my studio space in Chaska is how comfortable everyone who comes there is. The compliments I receive on how “cozy” and “comfortable” it is. The way I can really focus on who I am, who I am with, and how I can serve them to the best of my ability. That is what I really appreciate about my studio. I also think that the family and kids sessions I do in the studio are amazing and my customers love the look as well. Sometimes it is the best place to start getting creative.
Chaska has been an amazing place to put some roots down for my business. I spent weeks exploring and finding awesome spots for all my sessions. I am really happy with the variety of nature and urban available to use. The MN Landscape Arboretum is just minutes down the road and I have a photography membership that gets me and up to 20 people in for a session. I have been using the Arboretum for 10+ years and I know every great photo spot and what time of day to use it. The west metro is packed with little towns and country roads not to mention lakes! Let me help you decide the perfect spot for your session. If you have a special location you want to use I am totally up for it. With my experience and expertise I can photograph a session anywhere.
